Sahibzada Farhan and others await PCB NOCs for Nepal league

Several Pakistan cricketers are already in Kathmandu for the eight-team Nepal Premier League, but PCB no-objection certificates remain unresolved as the tournament opens.

The PCB has not issued no-objection certificates for Pakistan players due to appear in the Nepal Premier League.

People linked to the NPL say even earlier NOCs were put on hold; a fee of about USD 25,000 per player was mentioned but not confirmed in writing.

The eight-team league runs from 26 October to 21 November in Kathmandu.

Named Pakistan players include T20 captain Sahibzada Farhan, plus Haider Ali, Hasan Ali and others not in clashing national squads.

The PCB had not immediately commented when asked about the situation.
