20-coach Karakoram Express to run Lahore-Karachi in 19 hours
The 20-coach Lahore–Karachi service will leave both cities daily at 3pm, take about 19 hours, and run under private commercial management with Wi-Fi, meals and charging points.
Pakistan Railways inaugurated an upgraded 20-coach Karakoram Express at Lahore Railway Station.
CEO Muhammad Hafeezullah launched the train; commercial management is with the private sector.
Daily departures from Lahore and Karachi at 3pm; the journey takes about 19 hours.
Four classes: AC Sleeper, AC Business, AC Standard and Economy, with Wi-Fi, meals and other amenities.
