Pakistan Railways directs five firms to honour concessions

Pakistan Railways ordered private operators to honour all travel concessions under railway rules and contracts.
Instructions went to S. Jamil & Company, ZKB-BT JV, AA Enterprises, Prime Rail and Lasani Cargo from Lahore headquarters.
Clause 5.15 covers railway employee passes, PTOs, special passes and concessions for seniors and persons with disabilities.
Complaints arrived through the Pakistan Citizen Portal and the Wafaqi Mohtasib (Federal Ombudsman).
Concessionary quota on these trains remains available until 48 hours before scheduled departure.
