Sultan of Johor Cup Final: Pakistan Hold Japan 2-2, Advance

Pakistan went through to the Sultan of Johor Cup final on goals scored, 18 to Japan's 16, and will meet unbeaten hosts Malaysia on Saturday.

Pakistan drew 2-2 with Japan in their last league game on Friday, with goals from Hamza Fayyaz and Ghulam Mustafa.

Both teams finished on seven points with a goal difference of plus eight; Pakistan advanced after scoring 18 goals to Japan's 16.

Pakistan will face unbeaten hosts Malaysia in the final on Saturday.

Earlier, Pakistan beat China 8-3 and Canada 6-2 and lost 3-2 to Malaysia.
