Pakistan Saudi defence pact progress was the focus as Field Marshal Asim Munir and Saudi envoy Rajeh Tami Albugamy met, with the military saying both sides were satisfied.
ISPR said CDF Asim Munir and new Saudi envoy Dr Rajeh Tami Albugamy were satisfied with progress under the Makkah pact.
Albugamy took up his duties in Islamabad the previous Thursday and has since met PM Shehbaz Sharif and DPM Ishaq Dar.
The Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, signed on Aug 7, includes Turkiye and aims at collective deterrence.
Earlier this month, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye agreed to deploy forces and capabilities rapidly to the kingdom amid Houthi attacks.
