Pakistan host Sri Lanka as England eye last final hope
Pakistan have already booked the ODI tri-series final; Tuesday’s Lahore meeting with Sri Lanka decides whether England keep a slim path alive after both sides stunned them.
Pakistan have already qualified for the ODI tri-series final and meet Sri Lanka in Lahore on Tuesday.
The result decides whether Sri Lanka join Pakistan in the final or England keep a faint chance.
Sri Lanka chased more than 400 against England in Rawalpindi on Thursday; Pakistan earlier beat Sri Lanka by 37 runs in the opener.
A Pakistan win would be a fifth straight ODI victory, a streak last managed in late 2024.
Babar Azam has 89 runs in the series so far and could be rested pressure with the final berth secure.
