PHC will not schedule writs filed from October 12 onward
The court's notice also says writ petitions lodged from October 12, 2026 onward will not be listed, one day after the Federal Constitutional Court acted on preventive detention cases.
The PHC has taken petitions over recovery of the KP chief minister, a speaker and an MNA off its November 10 cause list.
Writ petitions filed from October 12, 2026 onward are not to be listed for hearing, and petitioners must seek relief from another forum.
Several petitions against the emergency and governor's rule in KP were filed, including by PTI chairman Gohar Ali Khan.
Reports say petitions against the emergency were also removed from the list, but no official statement has confirmed this.
On Thursday, the Federal Constitutional Court barred the PHC from hearing preventive detention cases involving PTI workers and activists.
