Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Osama Sarwar told the National Assembly that the first jet starts on November 1, with Karachi-UK flights assured for January.
Osama Sarwar told the National Assembly on Friday that PIA will induct four aircraft into its fleet.
The first aircraft is due to become operational on November 1; the second is expected on November 15, with its route fixed after arrival.
Two further aircraft are to join in January 2027 and start operations from Karachi.
Sarwar said PIA would begin Karachi–United Kingdom flights in January next year and that the airline had resumed UK services.
He said privatised PIA now works under an independent board and cannot be ordered onto specific routes.
