PIA nominates Adrian Hamilton-Manns as CEO, clearances pending
Former SalamAir and FlyArystan executive Adrian Hamilton-Manns is nominated to lead PIA and may take charge by end-October once security and other clearances finish.
Pakistan International Airlines has nominated Adrian Hamilton-Manns, former CEO of Oman’s SalamAir, as its next chief executive.
The appointment still needs security and other regulatory clearances; he is expected to take charge by the end of October.
An Arif Habib-led consortium took management control of PIA on 29 June 2026 after the privatisation’s first financial closing.
Hamilton-Manns has led low-cost carriers including FlyArystan and flyafrica.com; PIA operates as a full-service airline.
The airline had earlier considered former Ethiopian Airlines chief Tewolde Gebremariam, whose move to PIA did not materialise.
