PLL tenders two spot LNG cargoes for Port Qasim winter
Pakistan LNG Limited wants 140,000 cubic metres per cargo on a Delivered Ex-Ship basis, with electronic bids due by 2pm on 6 November 2026.
Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) has issued tender PLL/IMP/LNGT80 for two spot LNG cargoes to Port Qasim, Karachi.
Delivery windows are 14–16 December 2026 and 9–11 January 2027; each cargo is 140,000 cubic metres, plus or minus 5%.
Electronic bids close at 2:00 pm on 6 November 2026 and open at 2:30 pm the same day on EPADS v2.0; manual bids are not allowed.
At current spot prices, each cargo is estimated at about $100–105 million, or roughly $200–210 million for both, with the final bill set by winning bids.
The buys are meant to cover winter gas and power demand; Pakistan has taken 18 LNG cargoes since the US–Israel conflict with Iran began—11 under QatarEnergy’s long-term deal and seven from the spot market.
