PM health insurance scheme for journalists set to relaunch
Federal Information Secretary Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil said the scheme for journalists and media workers will return soon in a wider form, speaking at an APNEC Gilgit-Baltistan ceremony in Islamabad.
Federal Information Secretary Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil said the Prime Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme for journalists and media workers will launch soon in an improved, more comprehensive form.
He spoke as chief guest at the oath-taking of the APNEC Gilgit-Baltistan Chapter’s new office-bearers at the National Press Club in Islamabad on 29 October.
He told the gathering his doors remain open to the journalist community and stressed collaboration for a better working environment.
Senator Talha Mahmood, Principal Information Officer Raeesa Adil, APNEC leaders and others backed stronger welfare steps, including job security and economic protection.
