Pakistan plans FESCO, GEPCO, IESCO sale in first quarter 2027

Adviser Muhammad Ali said bidding for FESCO, GEPCO and IESCO may slip from December into the first quarter of 2027 as investors seek more time.

Reform proposals on tariffs and a competitive market are to be shared publicly by mid-November.

Workers are to get a protected period against adverse employment changes after privatisation.
