PSL 12 franchises face January 13 retention deadline

All eight teams have until January 13, 2027 to finalise retentions after approving squad rules in Lahore, with the auction set for January 23.

Franchises must submit PSL 12 retention lists by January 13, 2027.

The player auction is scheduled for January 23, only the second in PSL history.

Each team may retain up to seven players, including one direct signing.

The salary cap is Rs45 crore, rising to Rs50.5 crore with direct-signing options; minimum spend is Rs36.5 crore.

The direct signing window stays open until November 23, 2026.
