PTI KP seeks national plan before protests over emergency

Provincial general secretary Ali Asghar Khan said the party put workers’ safety first after emergency and governor’s rule, and wants clear national instructions by early November 2026.

PTI’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter said it avoided immediate protests after emergency and governor’s rule to protect workers from harm.

Provincial general secretary Ali Asghar Khan said protest timing should follow a joint national strategy, not unorganised local actions.

He cited police firing at a PTI protest in Bara, Khyber tribal district, where several workers were wounded.

Party goals listed include Imran Khan’s release, ending governor’s rule and emergency, and restoring the elected provincial government.

KP PTI wants an all-party conference and clear central instructions by the end of the first week of November 2026.
