Ramesh Arora invites Bhagwant Mann to Lahore conference
Minority Affairs Minister Ramesh Singh Arora issued the call from the House floor on behalf of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, after conference organisers had already invited him.
Punjab Minister Ramesh Singh Arora invited Indian Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann from the Assembly floor to a November World Punjabi Conference in Lahore.
The invitation, on behalf of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, follows an earlier invite from the event’s organisers.
Arora also invited the Indian Punjab Assembly Speaker to Kartarpur and said India had cut pilgrim numbers from about 5,000 to 500.
The House unanimously passed a resolution marking 27 October as Kashmir Black Day.
Proceedings were adjourned after the opposition flagged a lack of quorum for a second straight day.
