Punjab approves 149 posts in Sports, PIFC, Special Branch
The approval covers 70 Project Management Unit roles in Youth Affairs and Sports, 79 posts at the Provincial Intelligence Fusion Centre, and hiring in the Special Branch intelligence cadre.
The Punjab government has approved more than 149 new posts across three provincial departments.
Seventy posts are for the Project Management Unit of the Youth Affairs and Sports Department.
Seventy-nine posts are for the Provincial Intelligence Fusion Centre (also called the Provincial Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Centre in some accounts).
Recruitment is also approved for the Special Branch intelligence cadre, aimed at field monitoring and crime prevention.
The sports PMU posts are meant to improve monitoring, administration and implementation of sports projects.
