The Punjab weather update today: rain after showers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has deepened the cold, and the PMD expects more showers and isolated hail in Islamabad and northern areas.
Rain across several parts of Punjab, following showers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has intensified the cold.
The Met Office said heavy rain hit Narowal, Shakargarh, Kartarpur and Noorkot, with a noticeable drop in temperatures.
The PMD forecasts further rain, strong winds and possible hailstorms in Islamabad and other northern parts.
Scattered rain is expected in upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, with hail likely at a few places.
Most other parts of the country are expected to stay dry.
