QatarEnergy keeps force majeure on Pakistan LNG to year-end
Force majeure on liquefied natural gas deliveries to some Pakistani clients and Italy’s Edison has been pushed from early December to the end of December, market notices show.
QatarEnergy has extended force majeure on LNG deliveries until the end of December.
Some Pakistani clients were told the notices now run to year-end, a person familiar with the matter said.
Italian utility Edison said three further LNG cargoes meant for it will be affected.
QatarEnergy has cancelled LNG deliveries to Edison since April.
QatarEnergy did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
