Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2026-27 opens Nov 3 with 8 Gold sides
National stars including Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan feature as eight Gold and 12 Silver sides prepare for the first-class season starting 3 November.
The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2026-27, the 69th edition of Pakistan’s top first-class contest, begins on 3 November.
Eight Gold teams will play 29 matches; 12 Silver sides will play 31, with promotion to Gold next season.
Babar Azam is in the Lahore Whites squad; Aamer Jamal captains that side.
Shaheen Shah Afridi captains FATA, Mohammad Rizwan captains Peshawar Blues, Saud Shakeel leads defending champions Karachi Blues, and Abdullah Shafique captains Sialkot Blues.
