COMSATS and LUMS scholars will begin Genomic Medicine and Social Data Science at Oxford in October 2027 after a cycle where applications more than doubled.
Hafsa Qureshi (COMSATS) and Rafia Imran (LUMS) are Pakistan’s Rhodes Scholarship winners 2027.
They will pursue Genomic Medicine and Social Data Science at Oxford from October 2027.
Applications more than doubled; fewer than one percent of applicants were chosen.
Ten candidates from five universities reached interviews before a multi-field panel.
Prof Ali Cheema said the wider applicant pool shows strong talent across institutions.
