Saudi Arabia Postpones Davos in the Desert Conference to 2027

The Future Investment Initiative, known as Davos in the Desert, was set for October 26 to 29, and organisers said a new date will be announced soon.

Organisers said on Monday that the Davos in the Desert conference will now take place in 2027.

The event was planned for October 26 to 29 as the 10th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII).

The decision follows deadly attacks in recent weeks, including strikes at Riyadh's international airport that killed at least 18 people.

A new date will be announced “very soon,” according to organisers.

Reports say big banks and private-equity firms privately raised safety concerns about attending.
