Yanbu oil hub under Saudi civil defence danger alert
Yanbu is a Red Sea port and a major oil export hub, and crude shipments move through it via the kingdom's East-West pipeline, so the alert matters beyond Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia's civil defence issued an alert on Thursday warning of potential danger in Yanbu Governorate.
Yanbu is on the Red Sea coast and is a major oil export hub.
It is a key outlet for crude shipments carried through the kingdom's East-West pipeline.
No details of the nature or scope of the danger were available for this report.
