Aramco net profit hits 135.9bn riyals amid energy market turmoil
Third-quarter net profit reached 135.9 billion riyals as conflict keeps crude elevated and Houthi strikes on Saudi tankers, pipelines and refineries intensify.
Aramco’s third-quarter net profit rose 34.6% to 135.9 billion riyals ($36.2 billion).
Same period a year earlier, net profit was about 101 billion riyals.
Second-quarter net profit had already climbed 44% year on year to 122.6 billion riyals.
Houthi attacks on Saudi tankers, pipelines, storage and refineries have continued since July and intensified recently.
Aramco’s boss said the conflict still weighs heavily on energy security.
