Saudi civil defence warns of potential danger in Makkah, Jeddah

Saudi Arabia’s civil defence agency broadcast “potential danger” warnings for four western provinces, including Makkah.
The alerts also covered Jeddah, the nearby city of Taif and the Yanbu oil hub.
All the alerts were rescinded minutes after they were broadcast.
Residents were told to proceed to the nearest safe place.
The agency repeated a legal warning against sharing images or information on countering missiles and drones.
