Saudi Iran tensions: Riyadh says Tehran encourages Houthis
Saudi Iran tensions deepened as a foreign ministry official said Tehran arms and trains the Houthis, while Riyadh says it still talks directly with Iran.
A Saudi foreign ministry official, Dr Rayed Krimly, said Iran encourages the Houthis and keeps arming and training the group.
Riyadh says it still has direct communication with Iran, but said Tehran has not yet shown it can offer concessions.
The Saudi-led coalition says Houthi attacks this month killed 17 people at Riyadh's King Khalid airport and three at Abha.
Yemen's civil war reignited in July after a UN-brokered truce collapsed.
The sources include no Iranian response to the accusations.
