SE Fruits IPO probe: SECP requests export data from seven banks
The regulator is also seeking foreign exchange information from 30 banks, and the company's planned share sale was halted in October and later withdrawn.
The SECP has asked seven banks for export records linked to SE Fruits and Vegetable Limited.
It has also requested foreign remittance and export proceeds information from 30 banks.
The probe began on October 21 under the SECP Act, 1997 and the Securities Act.
The company planned to sell 30 million shares at Rs40 each; the SECP halted the IPO in October and the company withdrew it.
The reported Rs1.92 billion target does not match 30 million shares at Rs40, which comes to Rs1.2 billion; the gap is not explained so far.
