Section 144 Hyderabad: 15-day ban on gatherings of five
Section 144 Hyderabad now covers all nine districts of the division for 15 days, barring gatherings of five or more and unapproved rallies.
Commissioner Fayyaz Abbasi imposed Section 144 across all nine districts of Hyderabad Division for 15 days.
Public gatherings of five or more people are banned in that division.
Demonstrations, rallies, processions, sit-ins, hunger strikes and public meetings without permission are prohibited.
Road blockages, traffic disruption, loudspeakers and the display of weapons are also barred.
Dawn reported a separate Sindh order: on Sunday night the government banned rallies, protests, sit-ins and gatherings of five or more people anywhere in the province until 20 October.
