FBR import records ordered in two days on Rs1,120bn
Convenor Senator Saifullah Abro told the FBR, FIA and related agencies to file complete papers after about Rs1,120 billion in FATA/PATA scheme imports came under review.

Officials said about Rs1,120 billion in imports under the FATA/PATA tax exemption scheme are under scrutiny.
Records covering roughly Rs389 billion have been identified; more detail is still needed on the rest.
Notices went to 512 companies; 174 beneficiaries have gone to court seeking relief from FBR action.
Potential revenue losses were discussed in a Rs400–500 billion range, pending verification.
