Judicial Magistrate South acquitted Sharjeel Inam Memon and five people charged with him because the allegations were not proved.

Lawyers said the bottles were full of honey and olive oil, citing lab tests and medical papers. The magistrate did not adopt that account as the court's own finding.

Officers of Boat Basin police booked the matter at Section 4 in the 1979 Hadd prohibition law. Memon was later shifted to Karachi Central Jail.
