Shehbaz Sharif reviews KP security at Governor House meeting
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's Apex Committee meeting in KP reviewed the security situation and anti-terror measures, with the governor, ministers and senior military leadership present.
PM Shehbaz Sharif chaired an Apex Committee meeting at the Governor House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
The meeting is reviewing the province's overall security situation and the steps being taken against terrorism.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, federal and provincial ministers, officials and senior military leadership are taking part.
The meeting comes weeks after the federal government imposed an emergency in the province.
President Asif Ali Zardari approved the emergency under Articles 232 and 234 of the Constitution, the President's Office said.
