Pakistan lose 2-3 to Malaysia in Sultan of Johor Cup hockey
Pakistan were reduced to eight players after a red card and a second yellow, while Malaysia failed to convert any of their eight penalty corners in Johor.
Malaysia beat Pakistan 3-2 in the Sultan of Johor Cup at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium in Johor.
Pakistan's Rana Waleed was sent off in the 51st minute, and two more yellow cards left the side with eight players by the 58th minute.
Adeel equalised for Pakistan in the 36th minute, and T. Naaveennash Panicker scored twice for Malaysia.
Malaysia have won all three matches and are virtually assured of a place in the final, with a match against Canada left on Friday.
