Tax Officers Oppose More FBR Restructuring, Urge Review

Tax officers reject FBR plan for further structural changes, saying ongoing digital and compliance reforms need time to show results.

The Inland Revenue Service Officers Association (IRSOA) opposes further structural changes at the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for now.

IRSOA wants a unified national tax administration framework covering federal, provincial and local taxes.

The sources do not include a response from the FBR or the government.
