TikToker Mr Patlu bail granted by IHC till Nov 10

The Islamabad High Court has granted TikToker Mr Patlu bail until 10 November in the Sialkot mehndi stampede case that left two people dead.

The Islamabad High Court granted Muhammad Ansar Jatt, known as Mr Patlu, protective bail until 10 November.

A stampede at his mehndi and prize event at Faraz Cricket Ground in Sialkot killed two people and injured 18.

An FIR registered on 31 October at Motra Police Station names Jatt, his brother, the ground owner, six others and dozens of guards.

Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar directed him to seek remedy before the relevant Sialkot court.

His lawyers said the claims were false and that he had no previous criminal record.
