US FAA Saudi Arabia flight warning after Riyadh strikes

The US FAA Saudi Arabia flight warning, in force until December 10, cites military activity and navigation interference after strikes on Riyadh airport.

On Sunday the FAA told US airlines to use caution when flying to or over Saudi Arabia until December 10.

The notice cites military activity and navigation interference, and warns of risk at all altitudes.

Strikes hit Riyadh's international airport on Saturday and Sunday; Saturday's attack killed 13 and wounded more than 300.

The airport stayed closed until at least 5 p.m. EDT Monday. Delta plans Atlanta–Riyadh flights from October 23.

FedEx has flown a Boeing 777 freighter into Riyadh six times a week since September 2025.
