WASA Rawalpindi water DMAs planned with South Korean help
WASA officials met South Korean K-Water consultants to plan District Metered Areas that would track inflow, use and losses, with a pilot envisaged in Khayaban-e-Sir Syed.
WASA Rawalpindi is working with South Korean consultants K-Water on a modern water management system.
A meeting discussed District Metered Areas (DMAs) to monitor inflow, consumption and losses by locality.
The plan would use monitoring technology and flow meters to find leaks and regulate pressure.
Pilot DMA zones are envisaged in Khayaban-e-Sir Syed.
The work is linked to the broader DREAMS project to modernise Rawalpindi’s water supply infrastructure.
