Gunmen seize 18 marble labourers at Khuzdar mine, Naal
Police say armed men stormed a marble mine about 40 kilometres from Khuzdar, took workers and the owner's son, and fled with vehicles as a search began.
Eighteen marble mine labourers were kidnapped on Sunday in Naal, about 40 km from Khuzdar city, police said.
Armed men also took the mine owner's son, fired at a fleeing worker, and drove off with a loader and two vehicles.
The abducted men are locals from the Wadh and Naal areas; the mine is linked to the Bizenjo tribal family.
Security forces have started a search; no group has claimed responsibility.
