1Password for Agents lets AI assistants sign in to a user's accounts without the assistant receiving the password.
The user must approve each login attempt before 1Password enters the login details.
Supported assistants include Claude Duet, ChatGPT Work, Dots, Grok Bot, Meta's Muse and agents from Town.
The launch came as U.S. banks reported spotting automated activity in customer accounts.
A Chase spokesperson told customers not to share usernames or passwords with anyone.
