PIA Board installs Adrian Hamilton-Manns as chief executive
The national carrier's board has put the former SalamAir head in charge from 2 November 2026, citing turnaround experience as private managers reshape the airline.
Adrian Hamilton-Manns became PIA's chief executive on Monday, 2 November 2026.
The PIA Board says he will steer commercial recovery and the airline's wider overhaul.
He has run airlines in Oman, Kazakhstan and Africa and brings over three decades in aviation.
He succeeds Air Vice Marshal (retd) Amir Hayat, who held the post for about four and a half years.
An Arif Habib-led consortium has managed PIA since 29 June 2026.
