Airblue cuts 69 engineering posts in wider staff cull
The private airline said jobs ended on 2 November 2026 and told dismissed workers to hand service cards and airport passes to HR, citing regional uncertainty.
Private airline Airblue has laid off more than 300 employees across several departments.
Sixty-nine of those dismissed worked in engineering; others came from passenger handling, airside and related units.
Staff were told by email that employment ended on 2 November 2026 and must return service cards and airport passes to HR.
Management linked the move to regional uncertainty and challenges facing the aviation industry.
Sources say HR was instructed to clear outstanding dues of the dismissed workers.
