US officials flag Nvidia-linked executive Alice Huang over China information risk
Officials in the US, Singapore and Taiwan are concerned that Alice Huang, a Chinese data-centre executive close to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, shared information with Beijing.
US officials last year concluded Chinese citizen Alice Huang was sharing information with the Chinese government.
Huang, also known as Huang Le, was then a top executive at Megaspeed International and worked with Nvidia on Asian data centres.
Officials in the US, Singapore and Taiwan are concerned she may be a Chinese intelligence source.
She is described as close to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang but is not related to him.
The concern centres on possible Beijing access to information about advanced AI chips.
