Amir Muqam welcomes governor rule in KP to restore peace
Federal minister Amir Muqam said governor rule in KP, announced with a state of emergency on Sunday, should restore peace, safety and administration.
Amir Muqam on Sunday welcomed an announcement of governor rule and a state of emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, APP reported.
He called the step a route to peace, public safety and better administration.
He urged a focus on ending terrorism, immediate public relief, support for martyrs' families and treatment for the injured.
He said education, health, employment and public development should be the provincial priorities, and asked people to stay peaceful and follow the law.
The APP report does not name the governor, set a duration for the emergency, or reproduce the legal order.
