Verified Claude Ultra users can work past five-hour window
From 30 October, Max 5x and Max 20x become Max and Ultra at the same $100 and $200 prices, while verified Ultra accounts lose the rolling five-hour usage pause.
On 30 October Anthropic renamed Max 5x to Max ($100/month) and Max 20x to Ultra ($200/month).
Verified Claude Ultra accounts no longer face the rolling five-hour usage window and can use Claude through the day.
Weekly usage totals are unchanged: Ultra still provides 10 times Pro’s weekly allowance; Fable keeps a separate weekly cap.
Verification is automatic from account and payment history; new accounts stay temporarily limited until verified.
Max and Ultra include Fable up to half the weekly limit, plus monthly API credits of $100 and $200.
