Rs91bn disbursed under Apna Ghar Program by October 2026
Approved Apna Ghar Program loan financing reached Rs511 billion by 23 October 2026, with disbursements up 333 percent and the bank approval rate rising to 40 percent.
Approved financing under the Prime Minister’s Apna Ghar Program rose 245% from Rs148 billion in June to Rs511 billion by 23 October 2026.
Disbursements climbed 333% from Rs21 billion to Rs91 billion; 15,584 housing loans have been paid out.
Banks have received 217,001 applications; 86,896 were approved, lifting the approval rate to 40% from 28% in June.
Only about 18% of approved financing (Rs91 billion of Rs511 billion) has reached borrowers so far.
The government aims to finance 150,000 homes under the scheme by June 2027.
