Apni Chhat Apna Ghar scheme: over 225,000 loans paid

A Maryam Nawaz-chaired review heard that over 225,000 loans were paid out, instalment recovery stands at 97.6%, and fresh applications will open.

Construction of 128,718 houses under Punjab’s Apni Chhat Apna Ghar scheme has been completed.

More than 225,000 loans have been disbursed; 171,597 beneficiaries have received a second instalment.

Work on a further 62,600 houses is advancing towards completion.

Loan instalment recovery stands at 97.6%, with Rs22.29 billion recovered so far.

The meeting approved inviting fresh applications; Apni Chhat, Mehfooz Chhat applications have closed.
