Banking Mohtasib says customers were awarded Rs1.2bn

Sirajuddin Aziz said the office decided 29,001 complaints in favour of customers from January to September 2026 and awarded them Rs1.2 billion.

His office decided 29,001 complaints in favour of customers from January to September 2026.

It received 33,625 new complaints in that period, including 5,927 from the Prime Minister's Portal.

Aziz asked customers not to share account details or open unverified links, and to report suspicious calls to their bank and the NCCIA.
