Barkat Frisian Agro Q1 profit up 38% after sales rise
Net sales rose 6% to Rs7.69 billion after the Faisalabad plant opened, but profit slipped; first-quarter earnings then jumped nearly 38% on stronger volumes and margins.
Net profit fell 15.43% to Rs627.24 million in 2026; net sales rose 6.05% to Rs7,685.66 million.
Faisalabad plant lifted installed capacity from 17,000 to 29,000 tons; utilisation was 53.39%.
In 1QFY27, net sales rose 21% to Rs2,274.11 million and net profit rose 37.80% to Rs222.10 million.
Associated firms hold 65.16% of 309.990 million shares outstanding as of 30 June 2026.
Plans include a 26% stake in Agrolayer Protein Farm, an egg-powder plant in Karachi and a UAE subsidiary.
