CM Bugti separates Baloch values from Dasht Goran attack
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti told the assembly the Dasht Goran house attack was pure terrorism and ordered school building checks.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti told the Balochistan Assembly that the Dasht Goran attack has nothing to do with Baloch values and is pure terrorism.
MPA Mir Jahanzeb Mengal said gunmen attacked Mir Qambar Khan Mengal’s house in Dasht Goran from 6am to 4pm, killing Ahmed Nawaz Mengal and injuring another person.
Bugti said residents increasingly see Baloch communities being pushed into a futile conflict and questioned any tradition that kills passengers and unarmed people.
He said he had ordered inspections of school and college buildings across Balochistan after lawmakers raised safety concerns.
On the Asma Jattak case, he said the government was in touch with the family, called the matter sensitive, and said a lawmaker’s related claim was incorrect according to security agency reports.
