Ishaq Dar hosts CPC's Liu as bilateral ties mark 75 years
China-Pakistan relations latest news centres on CPC International Department chief Liu Haixing's first Pakistan trip, invited by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar for leadership meetings.
Liu Haixing, head of the CPC International Department, arrived in Islamabad on Sunday on his first official Pakistan visit.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar invited him; leadership calls and a jointly chaired Monday event are planned.
The Foreign Office links the trip to party-to-party exchanges and the all-weather strategic partnership.
The visit falls in the 75th year of diplomatic ties and follows Dar's January meeting with Liu in Beijing.
Liu's brief covers party diplomacy, distinct from China's foreign ministry channel.
