Rana Sanaullah told the Senate that £190 million transferred from the Supreme Court is being spent on the Daanish University project in Islamabad.

He was responding to a point raised by Senator Saifullah Abro.

He said Daanish Schools began in Punjab with donor funding and are also being extended to Bahawalpur.

He called the schools an important initiative of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and invited verified evidence on any corruption claim.

On Nadeem Mehboob, he said he had known him for 15 to 20 years, considered him honest, and that credible complaints would be investigated.
