Dry weather nationwide as fog hangs over Punjab cities

The Met Office says the plains stay mostly rain-free for about a day, with morning haze in major Punjab cities and brief showers only in a few hill and border districts.

The Met Office expects largely rain-free conditions over most of Pakistan for about the next day.

Upper KP and Gilgit-Baltistan hills may see light showers or mountain snow; a few southern KP districts may get night rain.

Morning fog or smog is likely in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala and Sialkot.

Northern Balochistan stays cold, with light rain possible in Quetta, Chaman, Pishin and Zhob.

Karachi remains hot for now; the Met Office links cooler, clearer conditions to westerly winds after 5 November.
